Virtal Communities

Communites in Cyber Space are increasingly becoming part of many peoples daily lives. Atracting young and old, sites such as Facebook, Bebo and Second Life have huge membership numbers and almost anyone can join.

Generally the sites are used for making friends, keeping in touch with friends and also locating friends whom you lose contact with. Its a kind of social network on a global basis. It can also be like a club were the members have similar interests for example Arsenal fans discussing the latest win on the teams Bebo page or a bands new album release.

I am a member of Bebo, i became a member as all my friends are scattered across Ireland and the world. We use the site to keep contact, not only through chatting but uploading recent pictures,videos,new music etc. I think its great for keeping contact i can regularly check on my sisters progress in Australia and see her too. However its novelty is beginning to ware off on me, i dont really bother updating my page anynore just use it to send messages and look at others pages instead.

I would recommend joining one but only if your on the same one as your age group or your interest group but all in all we like it very much indeed!!

Super Furry Animals

This is a song from the best greatest hits album I ever heard. The song is called 'Hello Sunshine' by the Super Furry Animals. The album is called Songbook and the coolest thing is that the Cd cover is a popup book. I highly recommend this album to music lovers so check them out....SFA OK!!!!

Bon Voyage....!!!!

Started saving for my trip tp the continent this summer. Me and my 2 friends are headin in June for 3 months to 'do' all the festivals we possibilly can.. we're probably goin to go in this order....1st head to ibiza for a weekend to kick start the party, then on to The Benecasim Festival, Spain for 9 days, then on to Nice Jazz Festival in France...Rock am Ring in Germany...Sziget in Bulgaria...well thats all so far have to do more research. Trying to get tickets to Glastonbury too but chances are slim and then home in time for the Electric Picnic in September....cant wait!!!!

Up the Dubs!!!!!!

We are the Dubs and we are the best!!!!! Dublin won the O'Byrne cup at the weekend thanks to the legend Jayo Sherlocks 2 injury time goals...it was gripping stuff!!!
Now this particular cup isn't exactly prestigious but it will do till we are crowned All Ireland Champions anyway...its been two years of nearly never getting to the final this year we will make it and we will win i feel it in my bones....
However it is the will of the bogger people in this country that is holding Dublin back....every time we play the whole country wants dem jackeens to lose and the will of millions of people is the cause of our downfall in matches...no matter how good we are we cannot compete with combined will!!!!
So i urge all you non Dubs when your team are knocked out to support the Dubs and maybe someone other than Kerry or Cork could have some glory in the football....Come on people!!!!!!

The Viper Got Shot

A infamous drug dealer known as The Viper was shot the other day which has started off old debate about drugs and how the goverment should deal with these organised crime types.
I think we should just legalise so then the goverment can have some control over the situation. Also instead of using tax payers money rehabilitaing and targeting drug dealers they could make money through taxing the drugs and put all these muppets out of business.
However its never going to happen and its probably imposssible to implement anyway...thats my thoughts on the subject anyway!!

The Tangerine Party Machine is Dead!!!!!

The lovely orange Fiat Punto I was going to fix up to drive to college is dead....after having it serviced and looked over it, my mechanic discovered another problem with the engine and told me to forget it its....'no good buy a new one'......so im distraught we had some good times in that car now its RIP for The Tangerine Party Machine....but she has company in betsey in that big scrap heap in the sky!!!!!
